Aseguran que es tan fácil de instalar y utilizar como un fijo convencional, por lo que es ideal para compartirlo con personas para las que Skype y programas similares son demasiado complicados. No necesita ordenador para funcionar, pero sí conexión a Internet.
Los países donde uno puede echarse un ligue este verano sin temor a arruinarse después durante el invierno son Estados Unidos, Canadá, Brasil, México, Australia, Hong Kong, Reino Unido, Irlanda, Alemania, Austria, Rusia y por supuesto, España. Las llamadas IP son operadas por Joip.
Los tres modelos de Globarange se llaman BB-GT 1500, BB-GT1520 y BB-GT1540, y cuestan 100, 130 y 140 euros respectivamente.
